A cool-climate Shiraz from the hills of the Bickley, ‘The Steward’ is a poised and elegant expression of the variety. Crafted with restraint and detail, it captures the natural finesse of the region while offering depth, spice, and structure.
Deep ruby in colour, the wine opens with fragrant aromas of rose petals, orange blossom, and toasty blueberry. The palate reveals fine, tight-grained tannins and a savoury core, layered with black pepper, warming spice, and subtle dark fruit. There’s a vibrant line of acidity that gives length and balance, finishing with persistence and grace.
Refined and medium-bodied, this Shiraz is a thoughtful companion to grilled meats, slow-cooked dishes, or hard cheeses — a wine of quiet strength and character.
